Tired of Paper Towels
Embassy Stockholm is exploring green technologies to take care of drying hands in bathrooms. Are there any American companies out there with small (we have space issues), effective, solutions? Thanks

FYI - our Facilities section floated an initiative to replace paper towels with hand dryers (after we spent €22K on paper towels over 18 months). However our Health Unit put the brakes on (during the H1N1 scare) since some believe hand dryers spread germs by making them airborne (HOWEVER the science on this seems weak). for a counterargument see page 8 of http://www.vdh.virginia.gov/epidemiology/DiseasePrevention/H1N1/pdf/PHIC_FAQ.pdf
